If there’s one thing we believe here at Campbell’s Flowers, it’s that every surface is improved if there’s a flower or a plant sitting on it. In honor of Administrative Professionals Day on April 25, we’re calling for workplaces near and far to give their work surfaces a refresh, applying a little elbow grease and editing skills to the things that may have accumulated on them over the long winter. Then, we’re calling for you to crown those desks with flowers and greens, which is a great way to build office morale, oxygenate the air, add color . . . We could go on.
Even if the individual desks are small, they can still hold succulents. These hardy, unusual-looking beauties offer a lot of visual interest and texture without taking up too much space. They’re also a transporting plant, a little otherworldly and definitely the kind of thing that you could look at forever on days where work is dragging.
On the other hand, a showy rainbow of tulips is called for on larger surfaces, or if a desk is open to the room. That way, everyone can enjoy their glory and get a dose of instant-cheer. Often our work surfaces are dark or without color; tulips cure that right away.
Make your admins happy this April 25 and get everybody in on desktop awareness.
